Drivers-
There are Thousands of links I could add here, but I asked Gordy
what he would do to find the right driver for whatever
card or peripheral you have.
First way: If you
know the product, go to their site and click on support and
select drivers/downloads.
Second way: On most
computers anymore they have a tag number. Go to the manufactures
site and
use those numbers to find out everything your computer
came with to include most user manuals.
Third way: If you
have a card with no name, look for the FCC #; then do a search
on www.fcc.gov.
Fourth way: Gordy
told me he learned this one around the $70,000 mark during
school and that
he likes to keep it for those really challenging
problems.
